Remote monitoring software now offers a reliable and cost-effective way of ensuring minimum downtime with self-service kiosks, ‘24/7’. The software can identify a wide range of adverse operational situations e.g. printer paper run out, electrical malfunction or power failure, and send out an alert to the service team. You can also use remote monitoring software to examine utilisation and activity levels, this is particularly helpful when introducing kiosks into a new environment e.g. workplace or new retail area, and gives a valuable insight into users preferences.
